Review: Creme De La Mer

Creme De La Mer is So Hot it is Often Out of Stock!

By Kristie Chiles

There is a eye lift cream on the market that is also great for smoothing fine lines and providing moisture for dry, uneven skin. The name of the mer concentrate is called Creme de la Mer and it is so popular, it is often hard to find a jar to buy.

Creme de la Mer does not follow the laws of nature. The cosmetic line is based on a "broth" that comes from calcium, sea kelp, potassium, magnesium, lecithin, iron, oils of citrus, Vitamins C, E And B12, wheat germ, sunflower, eucalyptus and lecithin. We have all heard of those ingredients, but it is the unique way that Dr. Huber combined them that made the difference. Huber put them together in a way that produces a special "broth" that creates a miracle for the skin that cries out to be smooth again. Huber knew the process of fermentation well and used it to create this magical formula that is so popular that most companies online that I have searched for, can't keep it in stock. When you realize that the broth takes 3-4 months to ferment, it is no wonder that it is a rare treat to find a jar of Creme de la Mer!

What is also fascinating about this particular mer concentrate that makes your skin feel soft and supple and young-looking again, is that since kelp (one of its core ingredients) has natural anti-microbial properties, there is not a great need to put a lot of preservatives in this creme to keep it fresh in your make-up bag. It is also highly sought after because the balance of ingredients is so delicate, it has to be hand-filled at the company.

The company claims that the results are that people who use Creme de la Mer experience that their skin becomes softer and firmer without a lot of creases in a short amount of time. Lines from sun damage, aging, and larger pores become less noticeable. The full smoothing properties are not fully understood, but the test will be on your face when you open the jar and apply it on a regular basis. Hurry and see if there is a jar left for you! Go to Eye Lift Cream.

Customer Review

I have been using Cream de la Mer for about 15 years. It is my "go to" moisturizer. I always receive compliments on my skin. Proper nutrition and staying hydrated are necessary as well. During the winter months my skin loves the cream version: during the hotter months, I switch to the gel formula because it is lighter. After sleeping with the cream on my face, neck and chest area - I awaken to baby soft skin. I use the cream on my hands and elbows as well. I also use other La Mer products. The Radiant Facial masks are truly decadent! It is important to follow the instructions on the cream (warm it in your palm first). But a 1oz jar usually lasts me 6 months at least. A little goes a long way! So, if the price scares you keep in mind it is very dense and will last much longer than your average moisturizer.
